Energy saving tips

• Shut windows and external doors when operating, but do not block off fixed ventilation.
• Minimise the space being heated at any one time, close off unheated areas.
• Regularly clean filters, ducts and reflectors.
• Set thermostat setting as low as practicable between 18 and 21 degrees C in living areas, and below 18 degrees C in bedrooms.
• Reduce heat lost from the building by insulating ceilings and walls, sealing out draughts, allowing sunlight to enter during the day, and closing window coverings at night-time.
• Turn heating off overnight or while out during the day
